It is about so much more than just financial assistance; we build relationships and strive to help each applicant as much as possible. I can’t imagine my time at IG without the IGFF. “Back in October of 2020, my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 hormonal breast cancer. This February her doctors informed us that she had gotten as far as standard care could get her, and we made the decision, as a family, for her to pursue alternative treatment options. However, the cost of these treatments is monumental and the financial burden fell largely on me. We were unsure if we would be able to make it work, but because of the IGFF Grant my mom has been able to begin her alternative treatment plan, and for the first time in over 2 years, one of her cancer markers has dropped. We will forever be grateful to the IGFF committee and this incredible company, that has helped us in our time of need.”

"First, I want to recognize how important those that work with this fund are! These wonderful people are saving lives! What I just said is not cliché. Financial stress is a major reason that many people to go into depression, become overly stressed, start addictions, and the like. I know because I was one of those people. When I reached out for assistance, it wasn't easy due to all the things I felt messed up in my life happening, not to mention that you don't want people (especially people that you may run into at work) knowing that you are struggling; that you don't have it as together as you try to put on. It's hard, but putting pride to the side, they are here to help! I had to reach out twice and each time I was treated with respect and kindness, and yes...they aided me both times. I am very, very grateful this fund exists because it really pulled me out of dark waters as I know it has for many others. I'm not sure who came up with this program but whoever did, whichever team did....Thank You!"
